Banana Blueberry Baked Oatmeal

Description

This blueberry baked oatmeal with applesauce and nuts is one great way to start your day.


Ingredients

Scale

1 c chopped nuts (Mix and match your favorites and toast for extra flavor)

1/2 c oats

3/4 c applesauce (I used cinnamon)

2 T maple Syrup, agave, honey, brown sugar, or your favorite
sweetner

2 t vanilla

1/8 t salt

1/2 t cinnamon if you like

1 1/4 c milk (your favorite be it real, almond, soy, coconut, etc)

1 c fruit (dried, frozen or fresh-I used 1/2 c frozen blueberries
and 1 banana)


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Spread in a greased dish.

Bake for about 45 minutes.

 Pour more milk over top if you want. Eat and enjoy.


Notes

Oatmeal can be reheated the next day and it can also be eaten cold.
