Description

This easy French toast casserole made with a custard of condensed milk and eggs with vanilla extract for flavoring, is amazingly delicious. Perfect for an easy brunch or breakfast!

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz brioche or challah

1 c condensed milk

1 c whole milk or 1/2 c milk and 1/2 c heavy cream

3 eggs

3/4 t. cinnamon

Pinch of salt

2 t vanilla extract

1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a ceramic baking dish that is approximately 9" x 7" with butter.

In a medium sized mixing bowl beat together 1/2 condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract. Stir in the cubed or torn brioche or challah.

Pour into greased baking dish and top with 1 c of blueberries.

Bake 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Drizzle with more condensed milk and serve.
