This mescal cocktail has been my favorite winter drink. Combined with citrus, apple cider and maple syrup, this is one to celebrate.
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 oz apple cider (I use the honey crisp apple cider from Trader Joe’s)
1 1/2 oz mescal (I use Pelaton de la Muerte)
1/2 oz real maple syrup
Fill a shaker with ice.
Add all the ingredients.
Put the lid on and shake it a lot.
Pour into a beautiful coupe glass. Garnish with an apple slice.
