Beer and Honey Potato Chips

Description

Beer and Honey Potato chips are made with a basic bag of salted potato chips. Sometimes it's fun to up your game!


Ingredients

Units Scale

1 14 oz bag Salted Kettle Chips

1 bottle of your favorite beer but avoid IPA's or bitter beers

1 stick butter

T honey

3/4 t salt


Instructions

Preheat oven to 300 with rack in the lowest position.

Pour beer into a small pot and let it simmer until you are left with 1/4 cup. This doesn't take long.

Add butter and honey and stir until butter is melted. Stir in salt and make sure everything is mixed well.

Cut off the top of the bag of chips. Pour butter mixture over the top of the potato chips in the bag. Fold top shut and shake gently to distribute butter mixture throughout the potato chips.

Pour into a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread into a single layer. Bake on the lowest rack for a total of 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Remove from oven and let cool.

These keep well in a zip-lock bag.
